Social Cantina

We have been waiting for this for months! We get Mexican food about 50% of the time we eat out, so we were extremely excited to go here this summer. We were seated right away, and Christine was our server. She was very knowledgeable about the menu, and gave us great recommendations! 

We started with margaritas and queso! I ordered the "pineapple margarita", and Cory had the "primo  margarita". They were delicious, and we drank them super quickly! The "queso fundido" was made with "baked chihuahua & oaxaca cheese + chorizo, poblano, guac". 

Next, we ordered 5 tacos to share. The taco options all sounded amazing! It was so hard to just pick a few. We ended up going with the "al pastor", "baja fish", "carne asada", "fried avocado", and "shrimp verde". Seriously, they were all amazing. The tacos were the highlight of my whole experience. Haha! We also tried a couple more drinks. The "paloma", and the "socialite". 

This place has the best atmosphere! The decor was so cool, and I love that they had upbeat music playing in the background. Next time, I'd like to try the "chips & salsa flight", and one of the "cantina bowls". Also, I'd like to add a "thank you" to Cory who took my pictures all around the restaurant, when he really just wanted to eat his food. Lol!
