Atlantis, Bahamas (Days 1 & 2)

- Day 1 -

We are home from our amazing Bahamas vacation, and I'm so excited to tell you guys all about it! I'm going to break it up into what we did each day, since there are so many photos.

We woke up at 2 am and headed to the airport!

The girls did great through all the flights.

Flying into the Bahamas! The water was amazingly beautiful.

We checked into the Cove Atlantis. The lobby was so gorgeous!

The room was very nice. It had a spacious entryway, and massive bathroom.

I loved this big tub and shower. We also had our own vanity areas.

All rooms at the Cove are ocean-view suites. They also have a stocked mini-bar, and Keurig coffee station with Starbucks products. They brought us a crib for Thea, and Lux slept on the pull-out sofa.

The view from our balcony!

Once we got all settled in our room, we changed clothes and headed to dinner!

Our restaurant was located in the Marina Village. Just a 15-minute walk, or quick shuttle ride from our resort.

"Frankie Gone Bananas" was a perfect first-night restaurant. Kid-friendly, casual, and full of island decor. We started with the "conch nachos".

I ordered a "Bimini Bay" drink (delicious!), and the crispy seafood tacos.

- Day 2 -

Can I wake up to this every day?

All ready for the pool and beach!

The girls with their cousin, Wren. Atlantis provides these lifejackets in all sizes.

We got out to the pool before 9 am every morning. Which was nice, since we had it all to ourselves.

This kids play center is pretty new to the resort. The girls loved it.

Lobster quesadilla for lunch from "Sip Sip".

Snapping a few pics before dinner.

We ate at Carmine's restaurant. Also in the marina village, and served family style. The girls kinda had meltdowns during this, but the food was good!

We ordered a mixed greens salad, spaghetti, and penne alla vodka.

Stay tuned for the rest of our trip coming soon!
